San Diego County Fair 2015
I was introduced to Vivian Dantche of Eagle Log Cabins through Cindy Benoit of the Del Mar Fairgrounds. The theme of the exhibit I designed for the 2015 San Diego County Fair was Freedom 2 Thrive.
Vivian and I hit it off right from beginning. We both believe in the same principles of sustainability
Some of the features we incorporated into the exhibit were Tiny Houses (Sustainable Forest lumber), mortgage free living, water catchment, vertical gardens, composting, worm bins, a native bee house, aqua-ponics, natural fertilizers, edible gardens, gravitational drip watering, a butterfly house, a living roof, a composting toilet and a meditation rock for all seasons to promote living from center.
The Garden exhibit was created using only edible fruits and vegetables and medicinal herbs. The grow wall was built using reclaimed palettes and filled with herbs.
