A Passion for Gardening

Left to my own devices, I could garden all day and even into the night. I can always find something creative, interesting and fun to do.

My passion for gardening began in my apartment in NYC where I propagated my houseplants into a forest. I started my practice of growing edibles organically in 1987 at my first home in Chicago. When I moved to California in 1990, I created a large organic edible garden with a bounty of fruits and vegetables.

I turned my passion into a career as a landscape designer. As a professional, my goal is to create a design that is unique to each homeowner and addresses the homeowners’ requests and preferences while using sustainable practices and climate appropriate plants. I treat each person’s garden as if it were my own, giving the finest attention to detail possible.
